we got our baseboards in yesterday and that is the last building thing to happen. The blind are in the future. The drapes helo the glare in the living area, but the study still needs help for the glare. we love the sun though
we love our apartment and are very happy. Julia gave Tom a big bag of walnuts today . HE mentioned at breakfast that he liked walnuts with his oatmeal. She said to follow her home and he could have a big bag of walnuts. Her sister had given her many bags of nuts.
Well, here we are in Otober 2025 and we mark 6 months of living in a retirement home. We have a comfortable apartment and enjoy three meals a day. we have all kinds of activities to attend if we choose and I play piano for 30 minutes every Tuesday for the ice cream social time. I also attend art class on Saturday. We take exercise most every day and enjoy walks around the lovely property ever so often. Right now I am waiting for Sam to put up a rod for my darkening drapes as we don't have our blinds up since we were flooded out months ago. The temperature is really chilly outside, but warm inside. We may have been close to 40 this morning. It is a beautiful sunny day outside and the leaves have turned yellow and are quickly falling to the ground.
