Flooded out

 Our apartment flooded on Friday and we were moved to a studio apartment, all furnished. We have been slowly moving our stuff here and are comfortable for the time being.  Out apartment is being refurbished, so we want it ready when we go back , which I hope is soon.  It has been hard for both of us, but we are making do.  

We got to Church today and I played an American Medley for the special.  It was well received, but I don't feel the need to play o a  regular basis.

Will keep posting as we continue on this new journey.

Loosing friends

 At our Solstice living center, I lost 2 friends this week.  One moved to another faclity for more care and one died in his sleep last night.  of course that is what is expected, but it still causes grief. I try not to dwell on this too much.  

We are adjusting to our new life and participate in more activities. 

 I play more piano than I did at home.  My new keyboard is not satisfactory but I manage to practice enough to have music to play for 30 minutes every week day at a social. 

 We have lots of help in the apartment and with chores.  All in all God is good and we are happy as can be.
